This is the face of evil. Albert Fish....one of the most vile pedophiles of all time. Admitted to molesting over 400 children, tortured and killed many others, often cannibalizing his young victims. A letter describing the torture and killing of ten year old Grace Budd, written by Fish, led to his capture six years after her death. He was executed in Sing Sing prison on Jan. 16, 1936.
Albert Fish the inspiration for the fictional Hannibal Lecter. Fish was executed in 1936 in connection with the kidnapping and murder of 10-year-old Grace Budd, after police traced a letter Fish wrote to the girl's parents in which he detailed killing and eating their daughter.
Albert Fish incriminated himself by sending a letter to Mrs. Budd on November 11, 1934. The anonymous letter detailed the murder and cannibalism of her daughter, Grace. The horrifying letter led investigators to Albert Fish who eventually admitted to the murder. Here, Medical Examiner Dr. Amos O. Squire holds bones of the slain Grace Budd after the ghastly relics were dug up by cops in an abandoned house in Westchester Hills.
