One of our daughter's favorite places. Bring the American Girl Doll along with. Aside from all the stuff to buy, there's a doll hospital, a restaurant (reservations required, I believe), stage performances, events, hair styling for dolls, a sweets shop, and our daughter's favorite, a t-shirt shop, where you can make up a shirt for your doll. There's also a huge Lego store right next door for the guys to kill time in if they break into hives surrounded by Girl Central.
If you haven't visited the Great American Dollhouse Museum...it's a MUST! You'll find a huge collection of dollhouses in historical settings and a terrific store. Located in Daneville, it's only short drive from Interstate 75.
American Girl Place - The 43,000-square-foot behemoth is home to a full line of eighteen-inch historical dolls (dressed in period clothes), a cafe a bookstore, and a theater that brings the dolls characters to life. (Dolls)
