U.S. Marshal James Butler "Wild Bill" Hickok (on the right) played by Guy Madison who rode a horse named Buckshot. That's Andy Devine on the left who played Jingles. His horse was named Joker. Wild Bill Hickok ran from 1951-1958 and was seen in re-runs after that in a lot of markets.
Wild Bill Hickock 1951-1958 The legendary Old West lawman Marshal James Butler "Wild Bill" Hickok, and his comedy sidekick Jingles P. Jones beat up the bad guys. Hickok rode Buckshot and 300-pound Jingles rode Joker. Jingles described Hickok as "the bravest, Strongest, fightingest U.S. Marshal in the whole West."
