Genuine Edwardian Egyptian Queen or Greek Goddess Brass Door Knocker. I can't quite decide who she is, all I know is that she seems to give an aura of peace and calm, in addition to which she has a great patina only achieved with age. Complete with original brass striking plate and new fixing studs. Slim in width and ideal for glazed doors with a narrow centre stile.

Antique door knockers are items of antique door furniture, used for knocking, and often made from metals such as copper, brass, wood and cast iron. Antique door knockers are available in numerous designs and degrees of elaborateness. Popular designs include hands (which are generally Victorian), mermaids and nymphs (a 16th century fashion), lion head knockers (which are also Victorian though contemporary reproductions are extremely common) and faces such as gargoyles.
