The Creed – Don’t Be a Robot: This video takes an in depth look at the creed we say at Mass. I think this format would appeal to teens and open up some discussion. I’m sharing this with our high school youth group. "When you recite the Creed, are you being real or are you being a robot? Do you even know what you are saying? Is there a difference between believing there is a God and believing in God?"

This is the Nicene Creed (the version that is in the BCP). One of the most important statements of faith in the Church.

The Creed Explained

This guide explores each of the twelve "articles", or lines, of the Apostles' Creed. The chapters examine the articles piece by piece and consider what each piece means. Quotes and prayers from various saints and theologians give more depth to the articles. Reflections and notebook sections conclude each chapter and provide ways for children to figure out how the articles apply in their own lives. This is a wonderful aid for catechists.
