Assigned to Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. Died of wounds sustained from small-arms fire when an Afghan military trainee turned his weapon on U.S. soldiers in a so-called Green-on-Blue incident in Kabul, Afghanistan.
