Diagram of anterior triangle of the neck, a region of intriguing musculature, specially the scalene muscle group with its common and clinically significant myofascial trigger points. The triangle is the area between the sternocleidomastoid, clavicle, and trapezius muscles.
Help students discover the area of a triangle by cutting a triangle and fitting it inside of the rectangle it is half of, allowing them to discover the formula on their own. Tell them the formula and they may forget, let them discover it and they will remember it through their self-discovery! This product contains various triangles, starting with the simple right triangle and extending to the more challenging scalene triangle. Then use the task cards in small groups or in a game of scoot.
