Airmen from the 455th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron and a researcher from the Air Force Research Lab teamed up to bring a new program to Bagram Airfield. To counter the challenges that unmanned aircraft systems pose on the battlefield, the team is training to pilot and use the drones, so enemy tactics can be replicated and used to train coalition forces on how to react to them. Researcher, Airmen Test New Counter-UAS Program at Bagram

Army SGT. Stephen M. New, 29, of Bartlett, Tennessee. Died July 28, 2013, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 2nd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Jackson, Mississippi. Died in the U.S. military hospital at Bagram Airfield, Parwan Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when his unit was attacked by enemy small arms fire in the Sarobi District of Kabul Province, Afghanistan.

Honoring Staff SGT Stephen New who selflessly sacrificed his life one year ago ON July 2013 as of today in Afghanistan for our great Country. Please help me honor him so that he is not forgotten.
