c1972 Bajaj Chetak. India. Bajaj Auto manufactured Vespa’s from 1960 to 1970 under license. In 1972 they introduced the Chetak, based on the Vespa Sprint. The scooter was imported to the U.S. from 2000 to 2006. Production was discontinued in 2005.
The Austrian company KTM, seems all set to showcase a redesigned version of the RC390 at the 2016 EICMA Motor Show in Milan this November, as according to a recent reports, the redesigned motorcycle was caught testing for the first time on Indian roads on the Mumbai-Pune highway just a few months after the news of the bike's presence at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant in Maharashtra created a buzz in the Indian motorcycle industry.
