Baked Banana Chips - make your own banana chips without all the added sugar and preservatives you find in store-bought varieties. All you need is some ripe bananas, an oven, and a little fresh lemon juice.
4 medium ripe bananas (or 3 large) 3 tablespoons orange juice (or juice from 1 large lemon) Cinnamon Directions Preheat oven to 200°F (warm setting). Dip each slice into the orange juice and place on the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 3 to 4 hours, or until your chips are dry and slightly brown, making sure to flip your chips halfway through. Remove from the oven, and once cool, chips can be stored in an airtight container.
Baked Banana Chips Slice bananas very thin (1/8"), brush with lemon juice mixed with just a little water, sprinkle with cinnamon and kosher salt. Bake at 250F for about 2 hours, turning after 90 mins. Let cool (the longer they cool the crispier they become). Smear a little peanut butter between them if you like. Perfect sweet little treat!
