Stock Market Sentiment rose to 45: Stocks finished mixed in volatile trading. While still weak, sentiment has improved. The S & P 500 decreased -0.5% and the Russell 2000 increased 1.1%. This holiday shortened week started off strong with another round of policy easing, this time courtesy of the UK, European Central Bank and China. Mid week the incoming data became less supportive with the first sub-50 ISM reported in the US in 3 years (signaling contraction). (Click for more)
