The Japanese aircraft carrier Kaga in flames during the Battle of Midway, June 4, 1942. It is more than likely to be a tricked image of propaganda.

In the summer of 1942 the Battle of Midway occurred. The United States defeats the Japanese and sinks many of their major aircraft carries. They killed many skilled pilots that were stranded on the boat as well. This battle was a success for the US.

Vikings employed wooden longships with wide, shallow-draft hulls, allowing navigation in rough seas or in shallow river waters. (They came out of the mist on an icy wind, and froze the blood of weaker men.)
