The British 26th Foot, the "Cameronians", at the Battle of Blenheim, marching to assault the village of Blenheim

P/O Leopold Dejace(1906-1942). Born in Liege, Belgium.Joined the Belgium Air Force in 1926.Fought in the Battle of Belgium 1939.He traveled to Plymouth, via Brest. He joined the RAF and converted to Blenheims, and joined 236 squadron.He flew in the Defence of Malta, and operated in N.Africa. On his return to the UK, he was shot down over Norway in a Mosquito. His body was washed up on shore. In 1960 his body was repatriated to Belgium.
