Scarborough Beach in Rhode Island is one of the only true Atlantic facing beaches in the state. While others may face in the direction of the ocean, they are primarily set on Block Island or Rhode Island Sound or are on Narragansett Bay. Scarborough State Beach is located in the town of Narragansett. It is one of the state's most popular and well-known beaches.
