enchantedengland: I really wish I’d walked across Westminster bridge for this view, but it was raining and dark and I was lost, which is nothing unusual. I finally found my way with the assistance of two friendly PC’s (police constables) and their utterly gynormous torch/flashlight. One of them held it over the very-worn, wrinkled, sodden map I produced and solemnly announced ‘I think that map’s given it’s all, miss’ and handed me a new map HOW NICE WAS THAT?
