The Nativity Church Bethlehem is not only the oldest church in Israel, but it is one of the oldest continuously operating churches in the world.
Title: Did the Book of Mormon Give the Wrong Birthplace for Jesus? "the critics’ case against the Book of Mormon proves futile because they fail to realize that if they insist on refuting the authenticity of the Book of Mormon based on the passage recorded in Alma 7:10, they must at the same time reject the Bible because it says that Amaziah “was buried at Jerusalem with his father in the city of David” (2 Kings 14:20), and the city of David is Bethlehem (see Luke 2:4; 1 Samuel 20:6)."
Ruins of fishing village Bethsaida, located on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee, Israel. This site is mentioned in the New Testament of the Bible, and is said to be the birthplace of three of the Apostles; Peter, Andrew and Philip. Also according to the Bible, Bethsaida is the location where Jesus performed two of his miracles -the first feeding of the Multitude and healing a blind man (Mark 8:22-26; Luke 9:10).
