This wonderful quilt was pieced by my Mother in Law, and quilted by her Quilting Bee in Graham, Texas. It was an exchange block of 3" nine patches, and she made this great star quilt by adding a simple triangle patch. Amazing! What a treasure.

Snowball Block - how to make a snowball block the easy way - Take the desired size of the finished sewn block, divide it by 3. Add 1/2 inch to that and you will have the size to make the small corner square.
