Evey Died July 16, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 29, of Stockton, Calif.; assigned to 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Fort Hood, Texas; died July 16 of injuries sustained when his Bradley Fighting Vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device during combat operations in Baghdad.
Army Spc. Darren D. Howe Died November 3, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 21, of Beatrice, Neb.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Ga.; died Nov. 3 at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, of injuries sustained Oct. 17 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Bradley Fighting Vehicle in Samarra, Iraq.
Army Pfc. James F. Costello III Died April 11, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 27, of St. Louis, Mo.; assigned to the 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died April 11 of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Bradley Fighting Vehicle and he subsequently came under small arms fire during combat operations in Taji, Iraq.
