Use a gallon Zip bag... place hamberger meat and smash to desired thickness, use a stick or knife back edge.. to score in squares or desired size patties and (frieze). Just break off what you need ..no need in thawing more then you need...Winks
Freezing ground meat in easy use portions. When I don't want to pull out my food saver I just put all the meat in a gallon size bag and flatten it out. Press out the air to prevent freezer burn. Then to portion it out so that it's easy to break off what I need without using extra bags I score the bag/meat so it freezes with the lines you see pictured. Freeze the meat flat. When you need a portion just break it off and put the rest in the freezer.
When your eraser runs out, or breaks off, just sharpen the other end.
DIY Tip of the Day: Lubricating screws. Wood screws will occasionally heat up and break off when you’re driving them in hardwoods like oak and maple. To help prevent snapped-off screws in your projects, try this slick tip from reader Frank Beston: Keep a tube of lip balm handy to lube the screws before driving. It’s fast to apply and the wax in it lets you drive screws fast and easy.
