Free-lensing: It's a method of shooting with your lens detached from the camera- but still held very closely. Holding your lens up to the camera (instead of attaching it) allows you to create a tilt-shift effect in your photos. Focus on one thing while everything else becomes blurred!

But it´s still a decent camera so if you are heavily invested in canon lenses it might be a very nice upgrade for you. 'A norse view' will for 2012 and 2013/2014 shoot on Nikon D800 and Nikon D4 cameras, with D700 as secondary backups for stills and D7000 as secondary backups for motion.
