CARPET CLEANING MAGIC! The carpet was tan so it's hard to see all the dirt, but the room was barely ever used so I didn't realize how bad it was. Seriously, GROSS! Here's what I did... Spot treated where there was dark, noticeable spots. Then, I mixed the following and used in my Bissell carpet cleaner: 1 tbsp baking soda 1/3 cup hydrogen peroxide 1/4 cup Borax 1 tbsp laundry detergent Filled the rest of the container with HOT water Smells awesome and cost next to nothing! Re-pin away…

My go-to. There's no store bought spray I've ever used that adds up to Remove Cat Urine and Dog Urine from carpet quite like this one. Mix 1 part water, and 3 parts vinegar. Spray. Let it soak for 30 minutes. Mix 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, and a squirt of dish-washing liquid. Shake it well. Spray, and let it soak/dry. Adjustments can be made for the measurements, to your liking.

ONLY SPOT REMOVER YOU WILL EVER NEED: Mix a 1:2 ratio of Dawn dish soap and hydrogen peroxide (1 part soap, 2 parts HP). Put on stain and watch it disappear. For those stubborn, washed-in stains put the remover on the stain, let it sit for a few minutes, rinsed, and repeat.

You can use cornstarch to clean carpet, wash windows, deodorize shoes, repel insects, soothe rashes, and more. Plus, it's 100% natural.
