I want to learn the cast-off technique used in this video. I've never seen it described in any of the machine knitting materials I've read, but it seems to be popular with machine knitters in Europe and Russia. Starts at about 3:20. Also, this woman is an absolutely AWESOME machine knitter! She really cranks out the goods. Clearly has been doing this for decades.
This pattern uses multiple seamless construction techniques starting with a provisional cast on, a top down raglan neckline and sleeves, knitting in the round and kitchener stitch to finish the hood. Despite the diversity of techniques it’s an easy pattern and a fast knit so I think it would be perfect for someone who would like to try their first seamless sweater. All measurements are in centimeters.
