On Christmas day in Scotland, people make big bonfires and dance around them,playing the bagpipes. Christmas had traditionally been celebrated very quietly, because the Church of Scotland frowned upon riotous festivities. Nowadays, Scots generally have their big celebrations on New Year's Eve (rather than Christmas), and this event is called Hogmanay.
Warwick - is one the richest parishes of Bermuda when it comes to attractions and Christ Church is certainly one of them. The church is located on Middle Road, right across Belmont Hills Golf Club. A full member of the Church of Scotland since 2001, it was built in 1719 by on a land given by a member of Warwick Tribe, Thomas Gilbert.
St Mary and St Finnan Church situated above Loch Shiel in Glenfinnan Scotland. The church is a memorial to the MacDonalds of Glenaladale. Built in the Gothic style. Although in need of some TLC, this little church is absolutely beautiful .
