Crock Pot Mac and Cheese. This was fantastic. I made it exactly according to directions (I used the casserole macaroni), and put a liner in my slow cooker, then sprayed it. I stirred at 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, and then before serving (maybe an hour later). Very filling, and thumbs up from my picky mac & cheese connoisseur.
Jack Cheese Recipe: "This is about as simple a cheese as you can make... it requires no forms, no press, and about as little effort as a cheese can be. Some milk, a pot, a piece of porous cloth, a couple of boards and a rock." The unwaxed cheese is aged 3-8 months with a coating of olive oil.
Cheesy Cauliflower Breadsticks: this was really pretty good, I steamed and then mashed the cauliflower by hand, it tastes like potatoes and has a slight quiche like quality to it. Halved recipe and used Colby jack cheese and Italian seasoning. I would try this again w/a sharper cheese. Made 3/27/15
DIY Homemade Cheese Sauce...I used mozzarella, colby jack, and parmesan, then added some garlic salt and it was delicious! The only time my kiddos have actually like homemade mac n cheese! For a full box of pasta, double this recipe.
Crockpot Mac & Cheese - The colby jack cheese makes it kind of taste like the stoffers mac and cheese, delicious! *My favorite recipe so far! Next time I'll add just a bit less cheese - it was a lot! But amazing.*
