Eton College's appearance on this list won't surprise Lord Moynihan, and with three Old Etonians in Team GB it certainly has an impressive record. The independent boy's boarding school produced Lawrence Clarke, who takes part in the athletics (110m hurdles), Constantine Louloudis in the rowing (eights), and William Fox-Pitt in the equestrian (eventing).
