This replaced a decent (read expensive) Rowenta with a cord. My dog pulled the Rowenta off the ironing board by catching his foot or tail in the cord. The Rowenta lived and so did the dog, but out of concern for the safety of dog and home I immediately started shopping for a new iron--cordless being the first priority.
Anybody who grew up in the 80's will know what this is--the propane-powered curling iron dubbed "The Clicker." We all carried them in our purses in junior high for emergency situations. I think some of the boys might have too.
