GOOP!! A bin, Corn Starch and Water! I dumped the whole box of it in and added water until it got to where I liked it, basically half and half. (I don't like to use food colouring with this, I have tried to colour it in the past, but it stains the hands!!). When handling the Goop roughly and fast, it acts as a solid where you can get clumps and crumbles and even form a ball! But if you treat the Goop slowly, it acts like a liquid, it will run off and slime through your hands!
3 cups corn starch 1.5 cups cold water 6 cups flour Mix the cornstarch into the cold water until smooth(ish). Add one cup of flour and mix in. Repeat until all the flour is added to the mixture. It is very similar to the store bought moon sand ~Safe for Ben!
stress balls... diy. cornstarch and water. ours exploded within a few hours but it was still fun to make! plus the kids learned a lot about the properties of corn starch and water. (hit it quickly and it's hard... slowly emerge and it's gooey)
