Cilantro-Lime Cucumber Salad - The Food Charlatan I tried this recipe last night and changed it a bit. Instead of cilantro, I added a little bit of Mexican seasoning, cumin, parsley and basil. I also increased the lime juice. It was delicious!

Dark and rainy west coast chai latte kind of day. Recipe: serves 1 1/4 tsp each ground cardamom and nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. whole anise, fennel, and corriander seeds, 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, 5 cloves, 4 black peppercorns, and a thumb size piece of fresh ginger. Puree spices with 2 cups almond milk and 4 tsp. liquid sweentener in a blender. Pass the mixture through a sieve to remove gritty spices.
