Hubble Photographs Cosmic FountainCredit: NASA, ESA and the Hubble Heritage Team (STScI/AURA)This interacting group contains several galaxies (called Arp 194), along with a "cosmic fountain" of stars, gas and dust that stretches over 100,000 light-years
This diagram shows our cosmic address at a glance. We see our planetary system around the Sun, our stellar neighborhood in our galaxy, our galaxy in the local group of galaxies, and our group in the entire universe.
New picture of the Leo Triplet Galaxies showing the Tidal Tail of NGC 3628 - these galaxies can be introduced individually as NGC 3628 (left), M66 (bottom right), and M65 (top right). (credit & copyright: Thomas V. Davis (tvdavisastropix.com))
Boa's Botanicals - Cosmic Spring Nothing like the Cosmos petal discussed in Beadedflowers group at Yahoo. That discussion brought about several members attempting to recreate a beaded petal found elsewhere. In my mangled attempts, one petal kept my attention and brought about this flower's creation. As such, i thought its name ought to have some reminder. Diana Berns
