1 banana, cut in half lengthwise cup to cup cottage cheese (I used but any will do) 1 Tbsp all-fruit preserves (I used mixed berry) 1 tsp ground flaxseed 1 tsp chia seed 1 – 2 Tbsp chopped walnuts (but almonds, peanuts, pecans would all be yummy too!)

This is one of my favorites on the South Beach diet. I usually eat this for breakfast or for a snack; it really satisfies my sweet tooth. For those on South Beach, count the pecans as part of your daily nut allowance.
Cottage cheese toast - 1. toast the bread to your liking 2. spread on cottage cheese 3. drizzle honey over the top 4. eat! This is a really tasty breakfast or snack that fills you with energy :) and even a kid can make it!
