For the baseboard we're considering a couple options. Either a plain rectangular board. A small bead detail around the top of the baseboards to give it a little interesting detail and help keep from having a big ledge for dust to gather on (not the most authentic trim but still fits with the style). Or a more complicated baseboard like this with a slight miter on the top and a rounded cap part way down:
Bright colors, craftsman trim and door profiles, and warm wood floors keep the living areas consistent with the style of the house. The tile (subway, and slate), fixtures, and soapstone in the simple but elegant bathroom bring the spaces together, while giving the bath a clean, refreshing feel.
The team at Streamline Builders just finished up another beautiful renovation with WindsorONE trim boards & moldings throughout this Mill Valley CA project supplied by Golden State Lumber in San Rafael. Wainscoting and walls decked out in WORS with Craftsman style details throughout. Thanks to owner/builder Tim Mortensen for sharing the great photos!
