Crescent Chicken Squares. Made these last night. Used canned chicken, cream of chicken soup instead of the cream cheese/butter mixture, and added some celery and onion in. Yummy. I made 8 (2 cans of crescent rolls) because they looked small. They expanded more than expected, so 4 is really the perfect amount for 2 people - dinner and then lunch the next day!
Creamy Chicken Pockets: these make a great appetizer! Made them & they were scrumptious! I did not sprinkle breadcrumbs on them, instead I covered the crescent tops w freshly grated Parmesan. It got crispy during baking & was a perfect addition to give another layer of texture & flavor. I also put Parmesan & a dash of cayenne in the filling. I used canned chicken breast since it's so moist & that's what I had on hand...Definite make again recipe!
