This is exactly why I don't trust the religious structure. If there is a book that tells me exactly how my life came to be and how I must live it in fear and awe of some cloud man's carefully tended firepit and his ability to create it to keep me in line and blind to understanding outside of him, I do not see freedom. I do not see love. I see enslavement. I see conform or die. If there is a God who must do this to ensure he has followers and no competition, he is not worth my worship
