Valley de los Ingenios, Cuba.  A series of three interconnected valleys about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) outside of Trinidad, Cuba. The three valleys, San Luis, Santa Rosa and Meyer, were a centre for sugar production from the late 18th century until the late 19th century. At the peak of the industry in Cuba there were over fifty cane sugar mills in operation in the three valleys.

La Habana Cuba - crosswalk Paseo Martí (aka Paseo del Prado); here's another shot taken from my room at the Iberostar Hotel Parque Central ... the room was an amazing corner suite so it had balconies overlooking both Calle Neptuno and Paseo Martí which means I had perfect sweeping views of both Parque Central & the Prado ... the intersection in this image is one of the busiest and most historic in all of Havana ... the history that's taken place on these streets is incredible ...
