My granny polly always had this at her house....Love Cucumbers and Onions: 2 to 3 medium sized cucumbers, peeled 1 medium onion, sliced 1/4 cup white vinegar (can add more or less) 3 or 4 cups water (enough to cover cucumbers in bowl) 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon salt *Dill is optional

1 cup sugar * 1 cup White Vinegar * 1 cup Water -- Mix and warm on stove til sugar is melted, slice cucumbers and onions and place in a quart jar, pour mixture over til about 2 in from the top. (may have some mixture left) These can also be made in a glass bowl with a lid. YUMMY, keep replacing onions and cucumbers as they get low. DELICIOUS and easy, great with sandwiches. Keep refrigerated
