Garmisch Nut Stollen- I have made this recipe since it first appeared in Cuisine Magazine 1979

This is an old recipe from a 1979 cuisine magazine called La Maxine. I converted it to gluten free by replacing the bread crumbs with Ener-G GF Bread Crumbs, filled it with a dark chocolate filling made with Hershey's special dark chocolate cocoa, and topped it with a dark chocolate buttercream frosting.  It is not for the faint of heart - an intense mocha walnut cake that is moist, calorie laden, and worth every bite!
