Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia The only city in Australia that was bombed in WWII and is famous for its hundreds of thousands of saltwater crocodiles. So many, in fact, that no one, here, swims in the ocean! Beautiful and very different city, though!
I loved Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory in Australia. It is a city of peaceful suburbs shaded by tropical palms and gardens, with gorgeous sunsets and so much to see and do even before you set out for Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks.
