"The people that work at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, have extraordinary dedication to orphaned elephants and rhinos! Many of these orphans have been traumatized, after watching their parents killed. When they arrive, each orphan gets caretakers that stay with them 24/7, including sleeping with them. The loving keepers become substitute "parents", giving the babies the best possible chance of survival, and good mental health, and the best chance to return to the wild some day."

An awesome charity in Kenya that helps with conservation, rescue and management of orphaned elephants, rhinos, and other wildlife. They do great work! Some of the stories are heartbreaking, but it's good to know they're in good hands.
