DCI Banks is by far one of my most favorite shows on tv at the moment. America needs great detective shows like this one. Nothing can substitute the greatness of the English countryside.

Occasionally, you come across a fine example of clonage occurring in triplicate... such is the case with Caroline Catz (center) of DCI Banks fame and Rebecca Pidgeon (L) who could be a dead ringer for her in the movie Red. And then we have Wendy Malick (R) who also has a very uncanny resemblance to the other two in an episode of The X-Files. It must be the hair style!

Excellent mystery series on PBS -- not for the faint of heart, but worth it.
