A great place value game using a dollar store pill container and dice. Lots of variations on what you can do with it. My third grade students loved it! It would be great for second or fourth grade as well.
This would be great for journals. I love how it is color coded and the lines connect to the corresponding value on the other side of the decimal. Another visual reminder that there is no "oneths" place. :)
Grandma's Place Value Quilt- Help Grandma pick the colors for her quilt according to place value. Such a fun way to practice place values in 2nd Grade! It's in the Back to School NO PREP Packet for Second Grade!
Place Value Partners Game from Laura Candler - Awesome for math centers! - Place value game includes two versions: Traditional terms and Common Core terms - Each version has several levels covering both whole numbers and decimals. Appropriate for 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade.
