Figurative Language Unit: Study, Analyze & Write 6 Types of Figurative Languge
Studying figurative language makes students better readers and writers! In this unit students will define, interpret, write, read, and analyze six types of figurative language: simile, metaphor, personification, onomatopoeia, alliteration, and hyperbole. Each lesson includes guided instruction, independent writing practice, independent reading practice (with two reading passages for each lesson), and a super fun and engaging figurative language activity.
These tips are for you if you want to make your tourism business more memorable and attractive to potential customers. They're also relevant if you're just starting out and want to define the niche and brand of your new tour and activity company in a creative way.
This activity requires students to condition a pet or a willing participant. Every aspect of this project must comply with the APA ethical guidelines. After conditioning, students create a lab report to explain their steps and define parts of the problem.
