I pin this for awareness and understanding. I think every family member, friend, and caregiver needs to read this. Do not let mental illness define your opinion of your friend or loved one. That is not who they are. You would not condemn or judge someone for having cancer. The same recognition, support, compassion, and respect should apply to persons who are mentally ill. IMO.
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1 (NIV) We’re all broken and wounded. That’s why we need a Savior. We’re guilty but because of His sacrifice we’re pardoned
Too many people forget "Judge not lest ye be judged" Matthew 7:1 I don't understand how people justify judging others, especially their feelings. We are all entitled to our opinions and feelings and no one has the right to condemn anyone else for what they feel or think.
therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death! romans 8:1-2
Satan wants to take as many souls as he can along with him to his fiery pit. Speaking of the comforter that in John 16:8, JESUS said “the [Holy] spirit will convict the world of sin and righteousness and judgment.” The word convict is best defined as to bring to light. JESUS didn’t come to condemn men and women but rather to save them. Blog @ http://www.womenandthechurch.com/2015/06/you-cant-compare-apples-to-oranges.html.
