California artist Kyle Leonard, who draws stunningly detailed stippled art with millions of dots, is inspired by the natural world and politics, especially the politics that affect the way we treat the environment. “I draw everyday as a creative outlet and for the meditative quality of it.” He spends about 6 to 100 hours on each piece depending on size and complexity.
I like this drawing because I love the different shades, like some shades are darker than the others. Also, the way the rose has some highlights that make the rose more realistic. Obviously it doesn't have color, but that's what I like more about this drawing and the way they turned a simple rose to a realistic detailed drawing. -Jimena Saldaña
