Roxanne, an arctic fox at the Detroit Zoo, came to the Detroit Zoo in 2010 with her sister Moxie, joining their older sister Alex. The trio reside at the Arctic Ring of Life, North America's largest polar bear exhibit, which also houses seals. (Photo by Mark M. Gaskill)
The Detroit Zoo has many engaging experiences for kids of all ages! Make your next visit with us truly memorable by planning sufficient time to "see, feel and experience" our Wild Adventure 3-D/4-D Theater, see the world through the eyes of animals on the Wild Adventure Ride or enjoy a scenic view of the Zoo on our Tauber Family Railroad. Located throughout the Zoo, these unique attractions offer a variety of experiences for the entire family!
My son and I love to visit the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak, MI. They have the coolest Arctic Ring of Life exhibit where you can walk under a glass enclosure with swimming polar bears and seals. And a new Outback exhibit where you can walk in with the kangaroos! And don't forget the family train! Loads of fun at the Zoo!
