In Art class, third graders have been studying different types of lines. Students created a step by step drawing of an owl, drawing one line at a time. Third graders really focused on neat tracing, painting, cutting and gluing for this project. Way to go third graders! Your owls are a hoot!
This collaborative painting was done by a high school class of male and female students between 9th and 12th grade. Students were inspired by Kandinsky to create a movement of overlapping shapes, colors and lines to the rhythm of different types of music. Every minute for 30 minutes, students rotated around the painting to spread their personal touches throughout.
