Got this off apartment therapy, where I get lots of my inspiration. Slanted wood ceilings, lots of natural light, simple hanging lantern. Not so hot on that rug though; I'd replace it with a large, comfy cozy shag rug to add a little warmth to the room.
This is called a "ghodiyu"...Indian and Pakistani babies sleep in them, instead of bassinets. This one is very modern. In India, they are basically a baby hammock, made from a thin cotton sheet. Baby gently sways to sleep. They can't fall out of it, it's better on their digestion, and they help prevent SIDS because the fabric is incredibly thin, so if baby rolls over they can still breathe.
