Behold - the mobile editing station . I edit my photos on a 13inch MacBook Pro, using Lightroom and occasionally Photoshop. I transfer the edited images to my phone via Dropbox, because I've found it to give the best quality. Then I give a final little "phone edit" using Afterlight. Just in case anyone was interested...

Not only can it lighten up your images, but it can make your colors and contrast pop by making an S curve. To do that, just add a second point in the curves window, and drag it down a bit.
