Persimmon Pudding Recipe (old-fashioned type pudding). Made with the following alterations per reviews: 1/2c less sugar, dash more vanilla & cinnamon, stirred every 15 minutes for consistency more like pudding, less like cake. Family loved it!
Gordon Ramsay's Yorkshire Pudding - this recipe worked really well for me. It rose like crazy baked in a cast iron skillet. It's a good day when your pudding puffs! (I divide one recipe between two or three 10" skillets.)
My Favourite Yorkshire Pudding Recipe!!! Ingredients at room temperature: 2 cups flour 2 cups milk 6 eggs 1 tsp salt Mix with whisk. It's ok to leave a few lumps. If you're not going to use right away, keep at room temperature. I like the results better if the batter has sat for awhile. Put about 1/2 tsp. oil in muffin cups (bacon fat IS the best!). Heat pans in 400 F oven until very hot. Fill muffin cups about half full of batter and bake approx. 30 mins. never fails.
This stuff tastes just like Tapioca pudding! I wanted to make rice pudding, but didnt want to make a huge batch. Also, I wanted to start with already cooked rice and have no eggs or evaporated milk on hand. This is a VERY simple adaptation, low-fat, and turns out beautiful and creamy. This recipe can be quite easily doubled or even tripled if desired, just expect longer cooking time.
