06 October 1985: A rare footage show Princess Diana sitting in the ground at the living room in Kensington Palace. She was meeting her designers; David and Elizabeth Emanuel, who brought a box filled with fabrics for Diana to view and select new wardrobe for her next tours. She is seen viewing the design skitches.
"She wanted the dress to be something that people would love to watch," said Elizabeth Emanuel who, with her husband David, designed the gown. Seamstress Nina Missetzia spent three months hand-stitching the creation.
