By Kassi Lynne. Use this tool to ink the raised parts of dry embossed cardstock. Stick craft foam to a felt pad, then to the Velcro on an ink blending tool. The foam is hard than a blending pad, allowing you to hit only the raised areas. It will hold & distribute ink & paint better also. (It won't work well for blending ink, though, so use the Ranger foam or felt pads for this.) With paint, use a very thin layer on the foam & really spread the paint out as you are picking it up.

how to emboss...incredibly simple. Note from Jacque: The only thing I would clarify is to buy pigment ink for embossing. Dye based ink is for stamping without embossing. Pigment ink will not dry on its own - it must be covered in powder and heat embossed. This technique works well when you want to color in with markers or watercolors.
