By Kassi Lynne. Use this tool to ink the raised parts of dry embossed cardstock. Stick craft foam to a felt pad, then to the Velcro on an ink blending tool. The foam is hard than a blending pad, allowing you to hit only the raised areas. It will hold & distribute ink & paint better also. (It won't work well for blending ink, though, so use the Ranger foam or felt pads for this.) With paint, use a very thin layer on the foam & really spread the paint out as you are picking it up.

simple embossing: cut the shape you want out of thick cardstock with an exacto knife, place the paper you want to emboss over the cardstock with a hole in it, and use a bone folder or the tip of large knitting needles or of a small crochet hook to rub the paper into the hole in the cardstock. For better instructions, go to the blog.
